Was reminded why I haven't returned for 3 years. Extremely slow. Took 20 minutes for to have the order taken. Took another half hour to get the appetizer and then the meals arrived minutes after, then we had to wait for silverware. After eating, ordered kids sundaes and a piece of chocolate pie. Kids ice creams took about 20 minutes and they were soupy. The pie took another 20 minutes. Took about another 20 minutes to pay after refusing the pie. Waitress was not around.

Very nice dining experience. The food was very good and correct.

Food was good but it took a half hour to get our drinks and over an hour to get our food.

But, you cant take a bus after 6. Plus, they'd lose their alcoholic beverage sales if some of their patrons really love the way they make their drinks. Plus taxis and Uber are expensive and you have to get your car home, right? And, what if you lived somewhere like Sherman Hills or near that and you walked home to play it safe, but someone who was drinking at La Tolteca killed you on the way there?
